Former Boston drummer John Thomas “Sib” Hashian has died at the age of 67, according to ABC affiliate WCVB. According to reports, Hashian collapsed while performing as part of the Legends of Rock Cruise. Hashian’s son confirmed those details with TMZ. Medics on board administered CPR and attempted to resuscitate Hashian with a defibrillator, but their efforts were unsuccessful, WCVB says. Former Kansas singer John Elefante, who shared the news of Hashian’s collapse and asked fans for prayers, later shared an update simply stating “Sib didn’t make it.” Hashian was with Boston for their first two studio albums, 1976’s Boston and 1978’s Don’t Look Back. He would leave the band before 1986’s Third Stage. Later in life he pursued acting after scaling back his musical endeavors. Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
