Lynyrd Skynyrd has revealed that filming has begun on their new biopic. The film will be titled Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash and the cast will include Taylor Clift as Ronnie Van Zant, Samuel Kay Forrest as guitarist Steve Gaines and Rich Dally III as guitarist Allen Collins. Drummer Artimus Pyle called the project “a very passionate, intimate story about the music and the band and a rise and fall that happened so suddenly.” “We could play with any band – any band, whether it was the Rolling Stones, anyone, and we would hold our own or better.
