Bob Dylan will headline Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival this year. Kendrick Lamar, The Dirty Projectors, N.E.R.D., Skrillex, Vampire Weekend, Jack Johnson, MGMT and more will also perform at the three-day event in July. “40 years since his 1st tour of Japan and shows at the Budokan, Bob Dylan’s historic 101st performance in Japan will be in Naeba this summer!” announced festival organisers. The three-day event will be held July 27-29. The festivities usually feature over 150 international bands and are one of the highlights of Japan’s crowded summer music festival line-up. Fuji Rock started on the slopes of Mt. Fuji in 1997, but the fest is now held at a ski resort in Naeba, Niigata prefecture, about 200 miles from the iconic mountain. It usually attracts between 100,000-120,000 patrons. Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
