Carl Palmer To Host Prog Rock Camp Next Year

Emerson, Lake & Palmer drummer Carl Palmer has announced the dates of a Prog Rock Camp he plans to hold next year. The multi-event music camp, featuring celebrity music master classes, music industry seminars, live music concerts, guitar workshops, competitions and more, will be held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia during November 8-10. A highlight of the event will be the premiere of an ELP concert that was filmed in South America in 1997. Announcing the event, Carl Palmer said on his website that it will be a “musical learning experience for drummers, guitarists, bassists, keyboardists and vocalists, featuring Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy band and very special Guests.” Guitarist Paul Bielatowicz, bassist Simon Fitzpatrick and Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal have already been confirmed.
