Rock icons The Who recently began showcasing behind-the-scenes footage as they have gone back to the studio to record their forthcoming album. Spending their days at British Grove Studios in London, lead guitarist Pete Townsend stars in the new vlog series being posted on YouTube and TheWho.com In the first clip, Pete is seen arriving at the studio and greeting several members of the band, including his brother, Simon Townsend, producer Dave Sardy, Billy Nicholls and the band’s audio engineer, Myles Clarke, among others. Later in the clip, he is seen consulting the band’s guitar tech, Simon Law to choose the right guitar for a new track. Meanwhile, the new album is expected to arrive sometime later this year.
