KISS and Japanese pop group Momoiro Clover Z have released the full video version of their collaboration track, “Yumeno Ukiyoni Saitemina.” The video sees real-life and animated versions of the band in a music battle with the young female group as the background shifts from mountains to moons to oceans. As for the music, it goes back and forth between keyboard-heavy pop and classic hard-rock riffs. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley leave most of the vocal duties up to their female counterparts with the exception of a few backing “heys.” “Yumeno Ukiyoni Saitemina” is one of two songs Stanley co-wrote for their collaboration. The other song, “Samurai Son” will be featured on the Kiss version of the single’s two CD releases. Momoiro Clover Z will be opening for KISS at the Tokyo Dome on March 3.
