David Bowie, Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan have all pulled down nominations for the 2016 Grammy Awards. Bowie’s final album Blackstar landed nominations in multiple categories while Dylan and McCartney were named in several categories for different releases. Bowie, Dylan and McCartney were just several of the classic rock icons named this year. Iggy Pop’s newest effort Post Pop Depression was also nominated as was the soundtrack to Ron Howard’s Beatles documentary.
