A conservative pastor has sounded off against Grace Slick. The condemnation follows recent news that the Jefferson Airplane singer licensed a song to a Chick-Fil-A commercial and then donated the proceeds to an LGBTQ charity. The pastor, a man named Franklin Graham, has allegedly warned Slick that “all sins carry a death sentence” and called upon the singer to commit herself to Christianity. He made no defense of the apparent duplicity of persecuting the LGBTQ community in the name of religion. Slick opened up about her choice to accept money from the famously prejudiced restaurant chain noting: “Instead of them replacing my song with someone else’s and losing this opportunity to strike back at anti-LGBTQ forces,” she wrote, “I decided to spend the cash in direct opposition to ‘Check’-fil-A’s causes – and to make a public example of them, too. We’re going to take some of their money, and pay it back.” Copyright(c) 2017 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
