Queensryche frontman Todd La Torre says he hasn’t talked to the band’s founding drummer Scott Rockenfield in over a year and a half and has no idea what he’s doing. La Torre revealed the news in an interview with The Metal Voice when asked about Rockenfield not performing on the band’s upcoming album, The Verdict. Rockenfield took a break from the band after the birth of his child in February 2017. But after six months, the drummer didn’t give “a definitive answer” on his return. Then, Rockenfield told management that he wanted to take the rest of the year off, La Torre recounted. “So Casey has been filling in with us the whole time which was only supposed to be a very temporary thing. Honestly dude, I don’t know anything beyond that,” the singer said. “I mean I don’t talk to Scott. I haven’t talked to him in over a year and a half so I don’t know what he’s doing. I don’t know what he’s up to. I don’t know if he wants to come back,” he added. “We just don’t know anything and we can’t give an answer.” Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com. All Rights ReservedLess «
