Whitesnake will release the first song from their upcoming album, Flesh & Blood, on Valentine’s Day. A teaser video for the song, “Shut Up & Kiss Me,” is available. According to Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale, the track is “a kick-ass song, you’re gonna love it. . [It has] some real fun elements paying respect and nod to Whitesnake’s past.” Flesh & Blood will be the English hard rock band’s 13th studio album and their first new album in four years. Coverdale describes the album, to be released in May via Frontiers Music Srl, as “the best Whitesnake album,” complete with “all the necessary Whitesnake elements that I need to call it Whitesnake, but with a vibrant, fresh coat of paint.” Meanwhile, the band is getting ready for a U.S. and European tour in April.
