In a recent press event held at the London’s Wembley Stadium, members of rock band The Who spoke about their upcoming album, with guitarist Pete Townshend saying the project is “about two-thirds” complete. Frontman Roger Daltrey revealed that some of the overarching themes of the new album are “homelessness.the fishing industry [and] the way that men might have to change in the future.after the ‘Me Too’ thing.” Daltrey also commended Townsend’s singular talent for writing “songs that get in your ear like an earworm, and go ’round and ’round and ’round.” The duo also touched upon the topic of drugs, with Daltrey saying that he has “never touched cocaine,” and that he has “only ever done grass.” “Because I saw what it was doing to everybody else, it was changing them, their whole personalities were changing, it was horrible to see,” Daltrey said of cocaine. “But just because you weren’t doing it, you were ostracized.” Copyright(c) 2019 RTTNews.com.
