The Clash’s Mick Jones features as narrator on the surreal single from The Flaming Lips, titled, “Giant Baby.” “Giant Baby” is a single from The Flaming Lips’ new album, King’s Mouth, which released as a Record Store Day exclusive in April. Jones, the lead guitarist of the Clash, serves as narrator throughout the 12-track record. After 4,000 copies of the album on gold vinyl sold out, the band announced plans to issue the LP on all formats on July 19. “One night, I saw your face up in the sky/In a cloud across the moon, it made me cry/I could see my mother as she died/In my head and in my hands,” the Flaming Lips’ lead singer Wayne Coyne sings softly.
