70-year-old legendary rocker Eddie Money will undergo a heart valve procedure this week to address shortness of breath. Doctors preferred the minimally invasive procedure be completed last week, but Money did not want to disappoint his fans by not performing two scheduled Memorial Day Weekend shows. Money performed the first of his two Memorial Day Weekend shows in Detroit on Saturday without incident, but due to breathing difficulties, the “Take Me Home Tonight” singer could not perform an encore at the end of a show at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Arizona on Sunday.
